Care For the Horses is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit program run entirely by volunteers dedicated to rescuing horses who have been abused or neglected and finding them adoptive owners who are eager to give them good homes. The program began in 2002 when Ann discovered eleven starving horses while trail riding in southeastern Arizona. Those were the first of many that CFH has rescued.
MISSION STATEMENT: To offer assistance as needed to ensure that no horse suffers abuse or neglect.
Volunteers are always needed for housing horses in foster care, fundraising events, caring for the CFH facility, training horses, trailering horses. Call Ann for more information.
