Among the horses in the calendar are horses that have been rescued by Care for the Horses.
In this way, we hope to promote adoption and to demonstrate the remarkable work that Care for the Horses, like many other horse rescues, does on behalf of neglected, abused, and needy horses.
One-Eyed-Jack is a thirty-year-old bay Quarter Horse who has a sweet disposition. He lost one eye to a severe infection, but he has adjusted nicely. He is easily ridden and is enjoying his new home with Ken Wendt in Huachuca City, Arizona.
